I love nothing more than a set of matching family pajamas. All the better if they're plaid! Here's a block called Christmas Plaid that showcases that favorite fabric of the season.
This block finishes at 6", 12" or 18".

Green Corner Units Take the light green pieces, the dark green squares, and the background squares. Sew a light green piece in the center of two background pieces. Press towards the light green. Repeat for a total of eight units. Sew a dark green square in the center of two light green rectangles. Press towards the light green. Repeat for a total of four units. Sew a background square unit to each side of a dark green square unit. Press towards the center unit. Repeat for a total of four sections. Pink Center Units Take the pink squares and the dark green rectangles. Sew a dark green rectangle in the middle of two pink squares. Press towards the pink. Repeat for a total of four units. Assemble the Block Take the red square. Sew a pink center unit on each side. Press towards the pink. Sew a green corner unit on each side of the pink center unit. Press towards the pink. Repeat for a total of two units. Sew the unit with the red center block between the two pieces. Press towards the pink. Enjoy the plaid! Christine Weld @christine.weld
