Good morning!  I'm Stacie Bloomfield, the artist and designer behind Gingiber.  With it hitting stores in the coming days, I'm thrilled to be sharing my new fabric collection, Dwell in Possibility.

This line felt like a revelation for me, design-wise.  I drew the artwork, and the collection was designed before everything happened with the pandemic.  But I feel like it has a message that we need right now, to dwell in possibility.  In times like these, where the world might sometimes seem a bit bleak, I choose to hold onto the things that matter to many of us: Hope, Possibility, and Sweet, Simple Parts of Life.

This line feels a little more "grown up" than my past lines, and I don't mind that at all. The panels really steal the show, and each illustration features quotes from my favorite writers and poets.

The Dwell In Possibility Panel is #43810 11M and it measures 36" x 44".  Each of the four quarters measures 18" x 22".

The metallic gold screen printing feels like the perfect bit of magic to pull the entire collection together.

Oh, and THE QUILTS that we have designed for you! I worked with Natalie Crabtree to design, and write, these patterns. They are enchanting.

I love this Fly Higher quilt featuring moths. Don't you love it? 

Fly Higher is made with 1 F8 bundle of Dwell and 3¼ yards of background (The sample is made using #48317 19M).  Fly Higher finishes at 71" x 72" and is GB047. 

Bright As A Flower is a fun and great showcase for all of the beautiful prints in the collection. 

Finishing at 69" x 76", Bright As A Flower is made with one FQ bundle of Dwell in Possibility and 4½ yards of background.  (We used #48317-19M for this one too.)

Isn't that backing fabric gorgeous?  It's one of my favorites.  The print is titled Dainty Moths, and the color is Poppy.  (There are three other colorways - Umber, Ivory Poppy, and Ivory Sky.)  It is #48311 11M.

We, of course, created quilts to show off the stars of the show, the PANELS! 

Trinkets is the pattern, GB046.  Using 1 Dwell in Possibility Charm Pack, 5/8-yard for the borders, and 1 of the quarters in the panel, this wall-hanging finishes at 32" x 36".

We used the same border fabric for all four Trinkets' wall-hangings.  It's titled Full Bloom, and this color is Ivory - #48312 19M.

And, the COLORS of this collection are rich, comforting, and feel elevated.

I hope that, with this line, we can see the little sparks of comfort, hope, and beauty in the world we live in.
