Laurie Simpson - one of the new Block Heads on the block.  While she might try to tell you otherwise, Laurie does do piecing - just look at the block Laurie chose for her Block Heads debut!

As for my block, I followed the instructions this time!  And then I made a few changes.  (Admit it, you'd be surprised - and maybe even a little disappointed! - if I didn't.  lol)

The fabrics are from a variety of collections - Jen Kingwell's Beach Road and Looking Forward and Zen Chic's Modern Backgrounds Paper and More Paper.

Over-achiever that she is - I think it runs in the family - Laurie is also making a version of this quilt using Bella Solids in the color palette that Brigitte Heitland of Zen Chic used to color the Instruction sheets.
