Hello, and welcome to part 4 of the Stitch Pink Together sew along.

I’ve previously shared how to make all of the different block styles found in the quilt. Today we’ll make the sashing rectangles and 9-Patch Posts that will complete the quilt. While there are a lot of units to make this time, strip piecing will save lots of time.

Sashing Rectangles and 9-Patch Posts (make 71 sashing rectangles and 42 9-Patch Posts)

Cutting instructions for these sections are found on page 3 with assembly instructions found on pages 10-11.

Extra Tips for Making the Sashing Rectangles and 9-Patch Posts

• Use my technique for stacking and cutting strip sets that I shared in week 2 to save time.
• Remember to save the scraps from the Sashing Rectangles to cut the centers for the 9-Patch posts.
